No Wrong Order Guest · Taste Match

From “I don’t know what I want” to “Yep. That’s my order.”

A few quick picks that feel like a mini experience, not a questionnaire. The intelligence stays behind the scenes so the guest barely has to think.

  1. 01

    What sounds good?

Pick a craving: starters, wings, burgers, big plates, or surprise me. Only the categories your menu actually carries show up.

  2. 02

    Flavors

Tap as many as you like: spicy, smoky, tangy, garlicky. A live counter shows how many dishes still match, and flavors that can't pair with your picks drop out.

  3. 03

    Anything we should know?

Allergies, alcohol-free, and the details your kitchen needs, like wing style and count with real prices. Totally optional.

  4. 04

    Results

A short reveal, then one dominant match with why it fits, two alternatives, then the pairings that complete it.

Three steps, not a survey

Craving, flavors, anything we should know. Around 20 seconds, and every step past the first is optional.

Options come from your menu

No pizza tile if you don't serve pizza. Categories, sub-categories, and flavor choices are filtered to what you actually carry.

Dead ends disappear

Pick spicy on burgers and "light" vanishes. Flavors that no dish on your menu can deliver together are hidden before a guest can tap them.

It visibly narrows

A live "dishes match" counter drops with every tap. It feels like the menu is answering back, not like a form.

Allergies before results

Guests flag allergens in step three. We exclude items you identify as containing them, and always tell guests to confirm serious allergies with staff.

Order card or real order

Show-your-server cards everywhere. Add-to-order where a supported ordering integration exists. We never imply direct ordering where there isn't one.

Your brand voice

The intelligence is ours. The voice is yours.

Pick a personality at setup, or configure your own copy. Sports bar or fine dining, the experience still feels like your restaurant.

How it works

Independent restaurants: live in minutes.

Upload menu, review the profiles, print the QR code, go live. No hardware, no POS required. Larger organizations get a deployment built around the operation: menu imports, POS integration, data mapping, multiple concepts, pilots, and rollout management. See Enterprise.

Menu profiling

Recommendations are only as good as the profiles behind them.

Every item gets a structured profile with a verification status. Recommendation confidence accounts for profile quality, so verified items rank with more certainty.

AI Profiled

AI-generated starting profile

From your item's name, description, ingredients, category, and the data you provide, we build an initial taste profile: primary ingredient, flavor, texture, richness, spice, portion, dietary attributes. Structured data for every item, not just names and prices.

Restaurant Verified

You approve or adjust it

Your team reviews the generated profile in the dashboard and corrects anything that isn't how you make it. One tap to verify. Nothing about your food is assumed final without you.

Signature Profiled

Originals, profiled with you

House cocktails and signature dishes don't exist anywhere else, so we don't guess. They're profiled by hand with your bar manager or chef and locked, so they're represented exactly as you built them.

FAQ

Questions owners and operators ask us.

Something we missed? Send it over and a human answers.

What's the difference between Guest, Intelligence, Multi-Location, and Enterprise?

Each one solves a different problem. Guest helps customers choose: the quiz, top matches, complete-your-meal, server cards. Intelligence helps you improve: menu health, menu engineering with suggested actions, A/B tests, guest preference reports, an opportunity feed. Multi-Location helps groups manage and compare restaurants from one dashboard. Enterprise gives large chains POS integration, real-ticket attribution, a corporate-to-store hierarchy, permissions, SSO, API, and a dedicated team.

How does per-location pricing work?

Guest and Intelligence are priced per location per month. A single restaurant pays for one. A group pays per location, with volume pricing that brings the per-location rate down as you commit more. Multi-Location starts at $199 a month and scales with locations. Enterprise is a custom contract that can include pilots, implementation, integrations, and annual terms.

Do you measure revenue, or estimate it?

Both, and we label which is which. Without a connected POS we report engagement, selections, add-on interest, and estimated opportunity. With a supported POS we measure recommendation-to-order conversion, upsell revenue, recommended versus purchased, and average check impact. Estimates are never presented as guaranteed revenue.

Do guests need to download an app or make an account?

No. Guests scan the QR code and the quiz runs in their phone browser. No install, no sign-up, no email capture.

Does the recommendation engine just push the highest-margin item?

No. It ranks by fit first. Among items a guest genuinely matches, you can weight the ones you want to sell. A bad fit never gets pushed, which is why guests keep trusting it.

How do allergies and dietary needs work?

They're available on every screen, not buried in a step. Dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-conscious) and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame) are filtered out before anything is ranked, using the ingredient data you supply. Guests are always told to confirm serious allergies with staff. We never let a model guess whether something is safe.

How do you know an item's flavor profile is right?

Every item starts with an AI-generated profile built from your description, ingredients, category, and the data you provide. Your team reviews and verifies it in the dashboard. Signature dishes and house cocktails are profiled by hand with you and locked. Each item carries a verification status, and recommendation confidence accounts for it.

Is the guest experience just a quiz?

No. Taste Match is three quick steps that adapt to your menu: what sounds good, the flavors you want, and anything the kitchen should know. Categories you don't serve never appear, flavors that can't match drop out as you tap, and it finishes with one dominant match and why it fits. Around 20 seconds, no account, no app.

Can I try it with my own menu before buying?

Yes. Upload your menu or paste a link in the Try Your Menu section. We build a demo on your actual items and send you a link and a QR code you can scan at a table and show your team. Demos are temporary and read-only.

Which POS systems do you integrate with?

Toast, Square, Clover, and Oracle MICROS on the Enterprise plan, with more to come. Integration ties recommendations to real tickets so conversion and upsell revenue are measured, not estimated.

How long does setup take?

Most venues are live in under five minutes: add your menu, generate the QR code, put it on the table. No hardware required. POS integration and multi-location setup come with dedicated onboarding.

What happens when the menu changes?

Edit it in the dashboard and the quiz updates instantly. The QR code never changes, so there's nothing to reprint when you 86 an item or add a seasonal special.
